If your email systems go down, we will continue to accept mail for your domain and hold it until your mail server is back online. Then, well deliver it in a flow controlled fashion to make sure your server isn't overwhelmed.
If you are experiencing a serious or long-term outage, we can convert your service to one of our Hosted Email services* . This means we'll configure POP boxes on one of our POP servers and re-route all the held mail from our delivery systems back into these boxes. You can then have your clients POP straight into these new boxes to collect their held mail as well as any new messages.
